Hey there, I really like this song, but I don't have a capo, and the
other tabs are all tabbed with capo on the 1st fret. Soooo...I wiped
the dust off my music theory and figured it out in standard. Basically,
a capo on fret one is the same thing as moving everything one half step
UP. Simple as that. Personally, I think that sounds more interesting
than the Em scheme, which is used in SO many songs... However, Michelle's
picking makes things much alot better and innovative. So anyway, here it is.

There are four chords for the song, barring the picking,
which I will not transcribe. Those chords, with the capo, are Em, C,
G, D in that order. Using my handy little converter, they become:

Fm, C#, G#, D#

Fm: 133111
C#: 446664
G#: 466544
D#: 668886

And that's basically it.

The bridge goes something like this:

C# D#
All you wanted was somebody who cares
C# D# Fm D# C# G (I think) D#
If you need me, you know I'll be there

On the last D#, strum contiual down strokes with increasing volume
until you hit the chorus again.

Here are the words:

Intro:

Fm C# G# D#
I wanted to be like you

Fm C# G# D#
   I wanted Everything

Fm C# G# D#
So I tried to be like you

Fm C# G# D# (keep playing D# until the start of the 1st
And I got swept away verse, listen to the recording to be sure.
This is where the electric is picking/soloing.)

Verse 1:

I didn't know that you were so cold, and
You needed someone to show you the way
So I took your hand and we figured out that
When the time comes I'd take you away

(D# strumming again)

Chorus:

If you want to, I can save you
I can take you away from here
So lonely inside, so busy out there
And all you wanted was somebody who cares

(Play verse progression by itself once)

Verse 2:

I'm sinking slowly, so hurry hold me
Your hand is all I have to keep me hanging on
Please can you tell me, so I can finally see
Where you go when you're gone

(D# strumming)

Chorus

Bridge:

All you wanted was somebody who cares
If you need me, you know I'll be there

Chorus x 3

2nd time is ablib "yeah","woah woah" and "oooh"

Outro:

Please can you tell me, so I can finally see
Where you go when you're gone

Well, that's it. Have a blast. Feel free to contact me with suggestions
and feedback. Thanks.
