I've looked all over for this tune, and everywhere I look it is the same bad
bad copy over and over. Thus I decided to listen to the music myself. Judas Priest
is in standard tuning E,A,D,G,B,E for this song, and probably is for the entire album, I
played around with a few of the songs, and it was the typical power chords in E and A,
none of the songs are built around starting with chords that are sharp or flat.
The correct chords are:
Em, Am, D, G, B7 You will hear this clear as a bell if you care to try it.
The second part is:
C, G, E, Am "It's been a life time, since I found someone
C, G, D Since I found someone who would stay."
I have to go, but the lesson here is that almost no song is starting with flats
and sharps. Why? Because open chords always sound best. This isn't jazz, this
is a straight on acoustic ballad with a electric solo thrown in, great stuff.
If you try to play it the way the other person transcribed it, it's just wrong, wrong wrong!
I hope this helps.
