Tuned down a whole-step to D
Comments: Well, it's actually a little higher than D but it's closer to D
than to Eb so... Nice bass line that basically follow the guitars for the
verse (although omitting certain things here and there for effect) and then
goes into a pretty cool pedalpoint-like ostinato in the chorus. One of Gene's
standard fills at the 12th position show up here again (compare the bass'
entry on Almost human).

HOTTER THAN HELL
Paul Stanley
[Intro: Guitar only]
[Rhy. Fig 1]
[Rhy. Fig 2a]
Come on
[Rhy. Fig 3]
She looked good
She looked hotter than hell
All dressed in satins and lace
I looked at her and it was just too clear
I had to get on the case
[Rhy. Fig 4]
I said "Lady, oh lady, can I take you home
There's just so much we could do
I'll take you all around the whole wide world
Before the evening is through
[Rhy. Fig 5 w/ End 1]
Hot, hot, hotter than hell
You know she's gonna leave you well done
Hot, hot, hotter than hell
Burn you like the midday sun
[Rhy. Fig 2b]
[Rhy. Fig 4]
I asked her why she couldn't make up her mind
She said "You don't understand"
"I'd love to go, but there's something you should know"
She showed me her wedding band
[Rhy. Fig 5 w/ End 2] (2x)
Hot, hot, hotter than hell
You know she's gonna leave you well done
Hot, hot, hotter than hell
She'll burn you like the midday sun
Hot, hot, hotter than hell
You know she's gonna leave you well done
Hot, hot, hotter than hell
She'll burn you like the midday sun
[Riff 1]
[Rhy. Fig 6] (repeat and fade)
